Dishonored home insurance claim

I had a home insurance policy with Bettersure. Home insurance. The experience was a nightmare. I put in a claim for leaking roof. I had to make follow ups calls with them to get someone to come and access from their side. After sending a service provider to come and look to the claim, the went quiet. Again I had to make follow ups calls to request for a service. Even the service provider had to contact me to ask whether Bettersure has contacted me since he sent a quotation to them. Still nothing happened for weeks. After a confrontation calls and emails with them after weeks they then ask me to pay for excess then the will do the repairs. Do you thinks I would have trusted them to do the repairs after sending the excess? I refused to send them the excess then the refused to do repairs. Dealing with them was nightmare. No one should ever experience that incompetence and disloyal service.. kindly stay away from Bettetsure home insurance.
