Dishonesty

When I was in the process of purchasing my home I was phoned by a representative of BetterLife who explained to me I needed bond insurance from them in order to register my home loan with FNB. At the time I agreed and took the policy as I thought it was just another necessary step towards owning my own home.

A year later I realized that FNB already includes bond insurance with their home loan product and I have been paying for the unnecessary BetterLife insurance policy for over a year. Payments amounted to almost R5000 which I've essentially thrown in the water.

Super dishonest company and probably in cahoots with FNB to **** people out of their money. Be aware.
