Disgusted with Bettersure.
Bettersure is the worst company to insure or have a policy with. I put in a retrenchment claim in August and was asked for necessary documents which I provided. They approved the claim for 6 months and paid only one installment. When I enquired I was told to re-submit documents and bank statements to show that I m still unemployed , which I find very unnecessary and stressful. Other service providers that I have approved claims and don't require for one to send documents monthly to.pay but at Bettersure you will be sent from pillar to post for an approved claim. Stay away from Bettersure if you don't want disappointments.😡😡🤬🤬

We're sorry to hear about your recent retrenchment. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
We're sorry that the claim process has felt stressful and disappointing for you. Your feedback is important, and we understand how frustrating it must be to provide documents more than once after your claim was approved.

Please allow us an opportunity to clarify.
In order for us to continue processing your retrenchment claim payments, we are required to receive updated bank statements as confirmation of your ongoing unemployment status. In addition, the monthly unemployment declaration must be completed so that we can verify and release each installment.
To make the process easier, instead of submitting an affidavit every month, you can simply complete the unemployment declaration form emailed to you from BetterSure Life Claims.
We understand that this process can feel repetitive, and we truly regret any stress it has caused. These requirements are in place to ensure compliance and to prevent any delays or incorrect payments.
Our team is available to assist you with the documentation process to make it as smooth as possible. Please reach out if you need help or further clarification.
Warm regards,
BetterSure
