Disappointed with service and claims department

I have an insurance with Bettersure since December 2022. Life and home insurance. I had an incident where my knotty pine ceiling collapsed and it was due to heavy windstorm we had on 30th January and windows was opened.

I contacted BetterSure on same day, few days later someone came to view the nature of my claim. It’s been now almost a month and few weeks I have been going back and forth with this insurance. I am not in arrears with my payment but they have no decency to give feedback but I have to call every week or so to find out my claim is still being reviewed. Then again that they didn’t have a ladder to go on the roof to see if asbestos not damaged. Mind you when I made a claim I meantioned I am staying in a maisonette house.

I am approaching my lawyers to claim back all premiums paid to this insurance company. We approaching winter and still I have to struggle to get a simple email or phone call.

I would not recommend using this insurance. 🤬😡
