Deducting premiums after I've requested to cancel
Last year in October, a BetterLife consultant called to offer me life insurance, which I required for a property I was purchasing. I agreed to buy the insurance product, & they promised that they will send me all the policy details in time for me to provide it to my bond attorney when signing bond registration documents. This promise was never kept. I had nothing sent to me, not even the policy number. I then took a similar FNB insurance product when I signed my bond documents.

In December, I called BetterLife to cancel the policy with them. Again, the person promised me that they will send me cancellation info. They never delivered on their promise. In January, I called again, luckily this time I found a person that kept his promise to send me cancellation requirements, Pual Bellinge. I finally got my policy number and cancellation documents. At this time Betterlife started deducting premiums from my account. I had to get a letter from FNB stating that I have insurance already.

When I finally got it and sent it, I had 2 premiums already deducted. Last month a 3rd premium was deducted, after I had sent all they need to cancel.

I want a refund of my premiums & a cancellation!!
