BetterSure more like no sure
Logged a claim for my roof leaking during the storms in July, had the assessors in on 23 July and still to this day I have not received confirmation of my claim. I was calling for an update once a week for over a month and was told that the claim is rejected but waiting on final confirmation from the 'underwriters' whatever that means.
I was also called twice asking if I have received the final letter when in fact I have not received this so called letter. I would like to have my roof fixed - it is now October. How long does it take to send a letter of rejection?
At this rate, you BetterSure you won't get feedback!!

Thank you for contacting us, even under the circumstances of your claim experience. We are sorry to hear about the storm's impact on your home and the consequent delayed feedback during your claim process.
If a rejected claim is referred to the underwriter, it is usually because some details don't align with the insurance policy terms and conditions. The underwriters will review those details to assess the claim's validity, the extent of coverage, and any potential issues. This step is necessary before the rejection can be finalised, and sometimes, it can take a long time to receive the final letter from the underwriter.
We will urgently look into your claim status to ensure this was the case and find out if the underwriter has sent feedback yet. In the meantime, please accept our apology for the frustration this process has caused you.
