**** artist

I'm very disappointed in bettersure. It has been a month since I heard anything from bettersure. My house was broken into alot of stuff ****** then they tell me I should have proof of the stuff that was ******. When I took out the policy I was not told I should keep proof of the purchases. If I was told then I could make a decision if I should take the policy or not because i trow away the boxes and proof of purchase once the warranty is over.I requisted the policy recording I was told they will send it to me that was a month ago and with that they told me they will not pay me. I'm still waiting for that recording. The only thing a client is good for is to pay. What if all my stuff inside the house was taken then you will tell me the same thing they will not pay. I canceled both my policies a month ago I was told someone will call me no one did. Thanks for nothing bettersure

Hello Dillon

Thank you for contacting us. We are truly sorry to hear about the break-in and the frustration you’ve experienced when trying to claim for the ****** home contents. We understand how distressing it must be to face such challenges.

Please accept our apology for the delayed communication. You should not have to wait an entire month for feedback.

Kindly see our feedback regarding your concerns:

  • Proof of Purchase: Kindly refer to the policy document sent to you shortly after onboarding. In the document, we’ve stated that you will be required to provide us with acceptable proof that you own an item and/or acceptable proof of its value if we request it. This is a standard requirement in the insurance industry and not unique to BetterSure. Purchase receipts, invoices, and any related documents on your home contents serve as proof of ownership and are essential when filing insurance claims.

  • Policy Recording: We apologise for the delay in sending you the recording of the policy discussion. We will follow up on this matter.

  • Cancellation of Policies: We are sad to lose you as a client and disappointed that you have not received a follow-up after you were promised one. We will look into why you haven’t been contacted and ensure that a consultant reaches out to you soon.

Regards,
BetterSure

I'm glad you bring the point up about it standard in the insurance industry to have proof. Tell me is it not a standard requirement to inform a client about having proof of purchase? If I knew that back then I doubt that I would have taken the policy because I know I don't have the proof of the purchases. Give my payments back at least then but you won't even do that.

Hello Dillian,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand how this situation might be frustrating. The policy document you received outlines the need for proof of ownership and provides details about the cooling-off period, during which you could cancel if the policy didn’t meet your expectations. To ensure everything was clearly communicated, we’ll follow-up on the call recording.

Warm regards,
BetterSure
