Unauthorized credit enquiry

An enquiry was made yesterday by one of your agents on my credit profile. This, to me, is unacceptable and discredits your company at all levels. I never agreed to your agent who called me yesterday (08/09/2021 @10:13 from ***. He asked if I wanted car insurance and a car model of my vehicle and I was quite frank that I do not need insurance as I am already covered. We hung up.

To my surprise, today there is a notification that Better compare made an enquiry at credit bureau on my behalf. Who authorised this nonsense, for I did not?

Please investigate and I ask that you remove this enquiry from my profile.
