If you are an addict seeking help, I would strongly suggest thinking carefully before contacting Betel SA. Samantha's manner is rude, dismissive and judgmental, especially toward someone who was reaching out for help during what is already an incredibly difficult and vulnerable time. Instead of feeling supported or given hope about the possibility of entering the rehab facility, you won't even be given the time or consideration to properly explain the situation. She will call you desperate instead! She also mentioned that they prefer to assist only people from the Pretoria area. Nowhere on their website is that mentioned. She gives you the run around for days and then tells you that. It is particularly disappointing when an organization presents itself as Christian, because one would expect those values to be reflected in the way people are treated-especially those wo are reaching out for help and desperately trying to change their lives. No one seeking help should be made to feel judged, dismissed or as though they are not worthy of being heard.
