Worst med!! Declined hospital pre auth and change of benefits to medical aid

I joined the medical in August last year, and later on in the year found out I was pregnant, cryptic pregnancy, and now that I'm due, I asked for pre Authorisation and the commitee declined it, even after they received all the documents that they needed to review the case. I had to follow up for two whole weeks to get feedback from them and all I recieve was the decline and a change in my medical benefits. How is it that fair??
