Worse Medical Scheme EVER!!!!!!

I was a member and had to get a emergency internal Hemorrhoid operation. I was at my house doctor in the year before joining twice, once for bronchitus and the other time for external piles. I was treated and within 2 days all cleared. Really forgot to put that on my application form. Doctor asked for authorization and was granted by Bestmed. So I went ahead with the operation. After operation I was notified that I **** about my condition and because THE DOCTOR made a mistake when asking authorization, my membership was cancelled and Bestmed leaving me with +-R90 000 of medical bills. I have two small kids and how must I look after them with all this debt. I approached CMS (Council for Medical Aid Schemes) because I feel it is really unfair that I am being punished for the doctor's wrong doing. And that my house doctor's visits didn't have anything to do with what was wrong when I had to have the operation. CMS sent me a reply and Bestmed just refuses to assist or anything and also went ahead and handed me over to legal, so did half of all the doctors and hospital. This place is just money hungry and friendly when you want to join, but when you a member they forget about you and see where they can take more money. Bestmed or any medical scheme is suppose to be there for people who needs medical care etc. They always say medical schemes CARE. I do not believe it and feel this whole experience with BESTMED was a sham and hope other people see it as well and rather go for a different medical scheme.
