Waist of time.

Apparently thy take 72hours or more for an Authorisation. Not a medical aid you should have if you have children. Call centre personnel is rude. Managers are never available. Say thy will call you. Still waiting.

Good day Ms Jooste

Bestmed does apologise for the delay in providing authorisation for the proposed dental services for your daughter.  There are protocols that need to be considered for pre-authorisation for dental services under general anaesthesia which does result in a waiting period before authorisation can be granted.

I will forward your concerns to the Team Leaders in our Hospital Benefit Management Department and will provide you with a response via e-mail.

With kind regards.
