********* and unprofessional debt collecting

In 2012 I discovered an sms on my elderly mother's cell phone. It was from a company called Credit Intel...no other details given except telephone. I phoned this company and asked them to send this account to my e-mail address, because my mother had no record of any supposed debt. They promised they would send this account to me but it never arrived. I assumed this was a **** because no account had been received, postal, registered or e-mail.<br> <br> However, the sms's continued to be sent, with interest being added. I ignored them, believing that if the account was genuine, my mom would receive a letter of final demand. None ever arrived. I tried telephoning the number given on numerous occasions, but no one ever answered, confirming my suspicion of a ****.<br> Yesterday, 4 years later, I receive an account on my e-mail from Credit Intel, relating to a supposed 2011 account, and they claim to be collecting on behalf of Bestmed. Interest and lawyers fees have been added.<br> <br> I would be most grateful if Bestmed would investigate this unprofessional, ********* and seemingly disorganised conduct of their debt collector, Credit Intel., and give me feedback.
