Unable to use medical aid

I've been on medical aid for 5 months and I have a waiting period for depression for 12 months.

I suffer from severe headaches that effect my vision sometimes and that I forget alot of things. This has been constant pain for 2 months and have abdominal pain as well and i have never been treated for this to be excluded in my medical aid.

Because I just have a hospital plan I've told my doctor about this headaches and she referred me to an internist which I paid for my myself. The internist examined me and took me up in hospital immediately so the following day I can go for and MRI scan. I was taken up on Thursday and should've gone for MRI on Friday morning. I waited the whole Friday just to recieve an email from my medical aid that they need a testimonial from me and motivational letters from my doctors stateting that I've never been treated for severe headaches, severe abdominal pain, blurred vision and nausea. I phoned the doctors and said that the medical aid needs this because the hospital is now waiting on a ln authorisation to send me for the MRI.

I've been in hospital over the weekend because my medical aid has a turn around time of 48 to 72 hours after receiving such documents to give authorisation.

Now it's Monday morning my medical aid doesn't want to give authorisation because the my medical aid doesn't have funds.

I'm very upset in this matter because all doctors and tests outside hospital is for my own bill and now that I am in hospital they don't want to cover my treatment.

What can I do to be helped for my condition I'm currently in so much pain that I can not explain how severe it is. I can not afford to pay for the MRI because I pay my medical aid and I can't even get treated because I'm not that long on the medical aid.

Please give me advise as what to do please.
