Terrible Process and Slow service with little to no coverage

We have been trying to get authorisation for adenoid removal for our daughter. Only to hear that we need to jump through numerous hoops in order for it to be approved and also that we are now due for a large co-payment. so tired of medical aids taking money but not willing to make payments as efficiently as debit orders are taken. Don't get me started on the branch efficiency. That is a whole nother story.

This is from your pre authorisation consultant:
* We require a clinical information from the admitting doctor with any supporting test results for review;

• A letter from the patient indicating when the symptoms first started; the duration thereof and if any previous treatment was sought (including over-the-counter medication)

This is my response:
My understanding is that you can gain clinical information from the admitting doctor yourself. As i am not a doctor, I cannot furnish you this information.

I will ask my 6 year old daughter to write a letter and i will send it to you. You may have to wait about 2 years so she can fully learn how to write.

Kindly escalate this matter so that we can do the booked procedure on wednesday.
