SHOCKING SERVICE- will never be associated with them again!!

<p>This is My first and probably My last review I will ever write, but I had such a bad experience with Best Med this last two that I have to say something.</p> <p> </p> <p>I app**** for authorization for a operation on the 31st of October, it took me six months to get a appointment with the specialist, I flew from Cape Town 15 November a day before My operation that should of taken place 16 November. I was at there head office in Pretoria that same day twice to sort out the authorization as ever person in the office just sends me to the next and the next and the next person, result being that I had to cancel the procedure 4 times. It placed me in a very humiliating spot at one of the counties most professional practices. In the last week I was at their head office no less that 6 times! They keep making empty promises and NEVER deliver. All of them refer to their “medical advisor” at the firm that the Doctor’s practice or I could not get a hold off he is always in “meetings”, I think its SHOCKING for such a big firm to sit with only one “medical advisor” that is impossible to get a hold of.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have always been a big fan and supporter of Best Med, since I have been a member in July 2013 I have NEVER made a in hospital claim, and the first time I really needed them they let me down. I paid my premiums month in and month out for times like these to have peace of mind. Can’t imagine what the service would be in case of a more serious event. I will NEVER be associated with people that treat me that way I have been treated this last 2 weeks.</p>
