Refusal to pay refund whilst Member has sufficient funds-Emergency Service

On the 24/07/2017 I rushed my husband to Mediclinic in Midstream membership ********** 7. The hospital does not accept medical payments for Doctors treatment to patient it only need cash payment. The hospital bill is treated separate from the Doctors bill. Therefore I found myself having to settle the 2 bills on the day which is: 1. Hospital bill = R630.00 2. Doctors bill = R1 012.10

Refund request was submitted to Bestmed on the 01/08/2017 and to date only one bill has been refunded R630.00. All supporting documents (invoice for the hospital and Doctor bill including proof of payment for both accounts) have been supported. Bestmed has honoured only 1 payment I am straddling to get second payment of R1 012,10. I have made numerous attempt to contact Bestmed with no luck for the past 2 weeks. The claims department telephone is forever busy, I have attempted to use chat on line services which frankly is useless as no timelines and sufficient feedback is provided. I need my refund and I cant ****** by scheme. There is no clarity on why is the claim not paid. You have a responsibility to confirm the invoice issued by hospital and stop playing delaying tactics in refunding my money. I demand my refund as soon as possible. I cant be contributing to your scheme and at the time you expected to render service to your members you play hide and seek.
