On 19th August 2022 I got a reply from Bestmed. I was told that my husband's case would be escalated to the Hospital Benefit Management Team for review.
Today is already 31 August 2022 and still I have not received any correspondence from Bestmed.
We are entering the 3rd month awaiting Bestmed. Is there any person at Bestmed understanding the urgency ? If the procedures from Prof. Pillai, Vascular Surgeon, is not reviewed soon, my husband would, most probably, have to get another amputation, as his right leg has already been amputated.
Is there anybody at Bestmed understanding the urgency of the matter ?

Kindly be advised that the case was reviewed and remains pending. on 18/08/2022 the scheme sent an email to the doctor's rooms and the member's registered email. The letter of motivation that you said was sent to the scheme was not received and we had requested that it be resent to the scheme on 19/08/2022 so that we can finalize the request. However, no feedback was received from the doctor's rooms.
Please supply the scheme with the requested letter of motivation for finalization and feedback to you.
