Pain in the neck.

So, I have a neck injury where my discs between my vertebrae has been damaged. This in turn causes my left arm to go numb and also causes pain in my chest, shoulders, arm and neck. It has gotten so bad that I battle to drive, my work has been giving me problems, due to the pain I have my standard of work has gon down. <br> I go to see a neuro-surgeon and he suggest that I go for a procedure called a infiltration and rosotomie (not sure if the spelling is correct). I go through the whole process of pre-authorization, and they tell me that only the infiltration will be approved and paid for. After the neuro-surgeon has also sent a motivation letter to them. I ask them why? They say it is there procedure? So without consulting the patient or the doctor, they just say no? I am in a lot of pain, and the neuro surgeon says that the chances of only the infiltration working is slim? I don't mind them having these procedures in place, but atleast listen to the patient before saying no. I mean my life has come to almost a standstill and they just say it is procedure. <br> I have been with BestMed since 2009, and this is the first time they have let me down.
