No one to help after hours

Had a emergency with my 13month old son on friday evening... Had a fever of 38.6'c struggled to breath... Went to Montana Hospital emergency care the assisted immediately... After Dr did her checks gave him medicine to try and break the fever after 2 hours Dr if formed me that he will need to be admitted. Whe the hospital needed to phone Bestmed inorder to get Pre auth... NO ONE was able to help because Bestmed have no emergency number for pre auth after hours. I had to take my son home because the hospital could not do a admissions it there is no pre auth approval from my medical services... I was with Discovery health for 10 years never ever ever did i struggle. Due to covid we had to evaluate our finances i was informed by a medical scheme representative that Bestmed will be able to cover us futher. Even though we joined 01/03/2021. The main reasons i am upset is that we could not get a hold of pre authorities after hours... In what world does a medical scheme not have this service. I work for the motor industry 11years and even we have a service 24/7 incase of emergencies...
