False advertising of been the best medical aid
<p>so I have had the unfortunate event of asking Bestmed to help me with a procedure that I need to go through - double jaw surgery. this is a procedure that I need to get due to me suffering alot with my mouth. They declined without offering a solution, they are also the only medical aid that does not provide ex-gratia to their members, even though it states it in their policy when you sign it. So just a word of warning to all that are considering joining the medical aid, I would suggest to relook at your option. I am cancelling my medical aid and I am going to go with Discovery who are more than happy to assist me as a member. They might cost a bit more a month but it will be worth it at the end of the day. My son and I are no sickley and have not stayed in hospital once since I signed up with the medical aid over a year and a half ago and they not willing to assist or offer a solution. </p>
