EVERYTHING GETS DEDUCTED FROM YOUR MSA
The worst and most useless Medical Aid EVER.
Everything gets deducted from your Medical Savings Account. My funds were depleted before April 2022. The Medication prescribed by my doctors was paid out of pocket including GP visitations where I had to pay R450 (which is within their "apparent" network) excluding medication. I've been with Bestmed for a year... I truly apologize if I've ever complained about Bankmed!! Everything was paid from the scheme with no hassles.
Even now starting the new year there was a deduction from my MSA.... for whatever reason I don't know....
I would never recommend BESTMED to ANYONE!!

Kindly be advised that your chosen benefit option design is a savings option where out-of-hospital services are paid from the savings account. this includes doctors consultations and acute medication.
You are humbly advised to consider moving to a higher benefit option that caters to your medical needs so that your benefits do not get depleted before the end of the year.
