Don't want to payout PCR test claims
I was with bestmed for almost 2 years and maybe had a handful of doctors appointments in that time even during the pandemic. I had to get a PCR test done so I went to a local testing station and when I sent bestmed the details and the receipt to claim back they kept bombarding me with questions and asking for more info, I gave them the email of the the testing station and still it wasn't good enough. They never settled my claim and were more than happy to send me contract Termination details.

According to the feedback provided by the scheme, contact was made to the service provider to assist with the provision of a fully specified invoice so that we can finalize the account. however, we have not received the correct details.
In terms of the Medical Schemes Act and the Rules of Bestmed, a service provider must provide a medical scheme patient with a fully specified tax invoice within 30 days of a service being rendered. Regards, Katlego
