Denied Chronic Medication

ID no - ********** 157082 - Name Scolastica Nawegulo ****ya Kiyini. I recently went for an annual medical check up. Im diabetic and hypertensive. After the results from the pathologists the medical aid company informs the pharmacists responsible for dispensing my medicine that they will no longer be authorising the glucophage as they feel I'm no longer diabetic. My main concern Bestmed never called me the client to discuss their decision about my medical health. I' m chronically ill and when I app**** to make use of Bestmed services I communicated this in the application and the quotation I received reflected this. I have already paid the annual fee so now 4 months into the program they decide to no longer send me the required medication without consultation with me or the doctors. So if they do not address this matter asap, Im prepared to go to the media and the Insurance ombudsman for a solution because Bestmed must realise that the life of the client is at most importance.
