Declining Claims

From Day one i have had nothing but problems with this medical aid. because of my condition i was told by consultants that this would be the best scheme that would cover my chronic condition. I went to hospital for my heart i had to go to ICU due to it being a life or death situation. They would not cover a cent. I then tried claiming from my gap cover again they refused to pay a cent. I then tried to claim from PMB(prescribed minimum benefits) which by law forces the medical aid to pay due to it being an emergency. again they refused. i now sit with a bill that i need to pay for which they should of covered. i think the problem is they cant keep up with discovery or any big medical aid company and this is why we are being taken for a ride. They quick to take money from you, but will not even try help you with any claim. They show you what you entitled to do and what they cover yet they have gone against the whole scheme. I would not recommend them to anyone, rather go to a well know scheme that you can rely on. Their consultants never get back to you and never give the right advise. Its a quick buck and that's all they worried about. ITS SHOCKING AND PATHETIC
