BestMed...more like WorstMed!

In the latest incident, I went to the dentist to use my preventative benefit. The dentist using the correct codes claimed from my medical aid, but they said my savings were depleted and I have to pay the bill before I am allowed to leave. The dentist account was not supposed to come from my savings, it was from the preventative care benefit. After a number of calls and emails, BestMed agreed that the dentist did use the correct codes and that it indeed had to be paid from the preventative care benefit. I claimed the money back that I had to pay the dentist and after 2 weeks still has not received any payment. As mentioned above, this is the latest incident... I am done with them!
