Kindly be informed that pre-authorization is subject to scheme protocols and funding guidelines. Minor procedures are funded at 100% at a day hospital facility as per the rules of the scheme. If the member requests for day procedures in a private hospital, the scheme may grant the procedure. However, according to the scheme protocols, funding shall be at day procedure tariff as the procedure can be done at a day clinic.
