Bestmed will embarrass and let you down when you need them most

One thing I have learned is that bestmed will embarrass you during the people,,, I have never regreted living my previous medical aid like I do right now, My son got sick while visiting family in Limpopo and I called bestmed to advise them of the situation ( I work and live in joburg) and I told them having my baby is very sick and needed to be admitted as per the private clinic he went too but all this must happen in joburg or on route to joburg they said they see no problem with that, surprisingly when it was time they telling me stories, saying there is nothing they can do I should even if after I have explained the difficulties we going through this side, upon admission we were not told there is no isolation room for my baby who has CP and doesn't handle noise, lights and people well they said there is nothing they can do as the beds are full, I have been on a call with bestmed since morning requesting that they send me a contract that I signed that they can't transport to a hospital that can best cater for his needs and guess what nothing has come to my email including their service agreement with the service provider. I then moved past it and said am welling to drive all he way to joburg with him in my car even though it's risky given the medical condition he is in right now, guess what they now saying they can't approve the admission unless I can prove there is no doctor in limpopo that can treat my baby, mind you my plan is not a network hospital nor a basic entry plan so am now forced by bestmed to stay at the hospital that can't accommodate my babies needs
