Bestmed the WORSE EVER!!

<p>In April 2014 my mother was admitted to hospital for an emergency operation. Her appendix burst. April 2016 she had hernias from the operation that needed to be repaired. July 2016 her iron level was 4.2, she had to be admitted again to get a blood transfer. Today her iron level is 6.5 and she needed to be admitted again - THEY REFUSED!! Since her 1st operation Bestmed only ever had issues with EVERYTHING. They refused to pay for the blood transfer the 1st time and after how many attempts from the Drs, motivation after motivation from the Drs did they finally pay. This caused so much stress for my mother as she is a pensioner and do not have the money to pay for this out of her own pocket. Currently my mother is at home, with an iron level of 6.5 - her life is at risk. Below 7 you should be admitted and get blood, else you stand the chance of a stroke or heart attack. DO THEY CARE? NO!!!! What is their reason??? She should go on meds. MEDS?? Even if she should go on meds her iron level will only go up by 1 by the end of December.</p> <p>No I ask you... WHY DO WE PAY A MEDICAL AID WHO DOES NOT GIVE A **** ABOUT YOUR HEALTH? WHO WOULD REFUSE YOU MEDICAL CARE? WHERE IN YOUR LIFE HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THIS BEFORE - A MEDICAL AID WHO TAKES YOUR MONEY EVERY MONTH - REFUSES YOU MUCH NEEDED, URGENT MEDICAL CARE!!</p> <p>Should ANYTING happen to my mother, I will personally make sure that Bestmed will never ever exist anymore!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
