Bestmed as in the name is the best medical aid in the country HANDS DOWN. I joined them in November 2025 and declared the i might gave to go for a back operation as my back was giving me hell. Even send specialist motivation " Please note it's not something that I wanted to do" However come end of January 2026 and all hell broke lose in my back. I had pain that I couldn't walk sit eat sleep stand or sit........ Having just joined Bestmed I went to see my specialist and said I eould pay a deposit of R15000 and pay the rest off as that was my situation. Sorry the rest is important so it's in capitals. MY SPECIALIST MADE AN ENQUIRE TO BESTMED TO SEE WHEN THEY CAN START COVER. WITHOUT HESITATION BESTMED ASKED FOR PMB CODES AND WITH IN TWO HOURS I WAS BOOKED IN FULL COVER. NO and I repeat NO other medical aid scheme will be that accommodating. Yes I know and understand that there are going to be certain things depleted but ATLEAS THANKS TO BESTMED I can walk and work again
