BESTMED RIPPING PEOPLE OFF AND VERY VERY FINE PRINT

I joined BestMed in Feb 2018. I am on the BEAT 2 medical aid plan, (preventative plan). I have NO dependants, I pay R1685 per month for this "medical aid"...in April I went for my yearly female check-up at my GP and the tests came back with abnormal cells, my GP referred me to a specialist Gynecologist for further examination. I had to pay R300 in cash as this is a specialist with a practice in a local hospital, and his fees are above regular medical aid rates. So he suggested that I remove the abnormal growth while I am still young and to prevent any future health risks...well my medical aid who takes my money every month, refuses to pay for his fee as well as I have been waiting 2 weeks for their authorization after speaking to a horrible "authorization consultant" Virginia something...in any way...they wanted all my GP records, my GP referral letter and letter of motivation also a motivational letter from the Gynecologist as well as a letter from me...now I understand that I haven't been on the scheme for that long...but to treat me like a person who firstly "lies about their medical history" "treats me unfairly by questioning me on why I want and need to do this opp"...it is a 1 day in-and'out opp...and they are giving me hell...and stressing me out...so why in heavens name do I pay nearly R2000 p.m. for myself for MEDICAL AID if my medical aid won't AID ME??? I have given them everything they have requested and still no feedback...besides this issue...I pau between R1000 to R1500 a month on extra medical aid payments due to them refusing to pay 99% of scripts...so please BEST MED explain to me why I shouldn't lay a complaint against you with the board of medical schemes?? Because I will take this further...
