BESTMED REFUSE FOLLOW-UP OPERATION AFTER ACCIDENT

I currently have one of the top3 options with bestmed (pace2) paying R7200pm for only me. Last year on 3 March 2023 I had a bad fall and broke my arm (wrist) and leg and also injured my knee. The orthopedic specialist inserted plates and *****s in my wrist and lower leg. Currentlly, one year later I have severe pain and discomfort and the specialist wants to remove the plates and *****s and fix the ligaments on my arm. Bestmed will only aporove the removal and refuse to approve any orher procudures. The specialist cannot perform the operation with limited approval and I am still in pain and discomfort. Specialist motivation were declined as well. I feel very unhappy and will be taking my case to the medical aid ombudsman.
