Bestmed pathetic service.
I am highly disappointed in Bestmed, just in a whole. I am a new client and sent in my Chronic Medicine Application, PMB Application and Dialysis Application on the 7th of July. I was asked to resend my applications in another format on the 8th of July, which I did. By the 12th of July I had not received any feedback so I emailed Bestmed questioning them of same and I was advised to yet again to resend my application, which yet again I did. By the 18th of July I emailed Bestmed requesting the status of my applications but yet again I was asked to send my applications and scripts. Now Bestmed have received my applications and scripts numerous times and the feedback that I keep getting is that my applications are being processed. I have emailed, called and chatted to Bestmed, infact each application department and still just to receive the feedback that "they will call me by end of business day". So I eagerly wait for the calls as they are well aware that I urgently need my Chronic medication. Bestmed could easily deduct their payment and July is almost coming to a close but Im still waiting for Bestmed to take their heads out their asses to assist me the way every paying client deserves.
We are sorry to hear that you have not yet received any feedback on your applications for chronic medicines and your PMB conditions.
As per our records, your initial e-mail on 8 July 2022 could not be handled since the attachments could not be opened as you had put the link in the body of the e-mail which then tried to open in Google Mail and was therefore not accessible to us.
Your second e-mail with attachments was received on 14 July 2022 and was forwarded to the relevant departments for evaluation and processing.
Our Medicine Department informed you on 18 July 2022 that the names of the medicines you were applying for, were not indicated on the application form and that no prescription had been attached to the application as was required. I can forward you the attachments on your e-mail of 14 July 2022 as proof that the request was not made unnecessarily.
The required information was received from you on 18 July 2022. Your treatment plan letter was e-mailed to you this morning, 22 July 2022 and your chronic medicine letter should follow shortly.
With kind regards.

This would be my third bad review about Bestmed and it is evident that Bestmed does NOT care about the well being of your clients, not even in the least.
I recently tried collecting my Chronic Medication at a Bestmed network pharmacy, Clicks to be exact. I was not collecting all my medication but the medication I urgently need however there was a hefty co-payment requested. Needless to say I had to yet again walk away without getting my Chronic medication.
I do not understand why I have co-payments on my medication as according to Bestmeds Formulary Lists my medication IS SAID to be covered, even when calling the Bestmed Chronic Department the Pharmacist acknowledged that I should not have a co-payment on the medication i was listing.
Now its gets even more confusing as after my first bad review of Bestmed, it is then only that they decided to act. So I received my confirmation letter of my Chronic medication which clearly states I need to pay a 30% co-payment on most of my Chroni medications yet according to Bestmeds Formulary Lists I should covered. SO HONESTLY WHY DO I HAVE CO-PAYMENTS ON MY MEDICATION?
I've tried sorting out this matter on Bestmeds Chat Now portal but after Eugene could not answer many of my questions, he decided just to tell me to sort the matter out with Clicks. Then I contact the Bestmed Chronic Department and spoke to Matabogo. I seemed to be getting somewhere but when I requested that she call me back as my airtime was soon to run out, she told that the Chronic Department is an in-call department so she cannot call me back. She then proceeded to say I must just call back when I have more airtime. So in no way did she take my matter as serious and I honestly cannot understand why an important department such as the chronic department cannot call out...ITS RIDICULOUS.
Furthermore I therefore request that Bestmed Chronic Department contact me telephonically immediately (you guys do not keep to your time frame either) or you leave me no choice but to report Bestmed to the Medical Ombudsman or stop payment.
Bestmed has caused issues for me when I'm already facing so many other issues in my life. Its really been so awful dealing with Bestmed honestly.
