Bestmed Not Reasonable

After years of referring co-workers and people I get into contact with to Bestmed due to their pricing and service I have today decided that they do not seem to be reasonable.<br> <br> I was hospitalised on the 1 of July with a knee injury. Xrays were taken as well as an CT scan but the doctor could still not get enough definition so confirm whether a ligament was torn. The Dr preferred to perform an MRI scan, for which I would have been covered since I was hospitalised, and my medical aid under these circumstances \got me covered". <br> Unfortunately I had a steel pin in my leg from a previous operation that meant I could not undergo an MRI. On 6 July went to a specialist to get more information on the pin and had the MRI done when confired that it was safe.<br> <br> At this stage the Medical aid refused to pay since it is seen as an out of hospital MRI that according to my plan is not covered. Even after I went to the Dr to obtain a motivation letter to explain the delay they just declined and said sorry it is out of hospital. Not taking the circomstances into account at all.<br> <br> """
