BESTMED NOT FOR THE CUSTOMERS
My wife and I are legally blind people that joined Best med last year. My first question to the sale person was, is Life Rose Acres on your network of hospitals and he told me yes, because the hospital is around 500 meters from us and this help us as blind people. Today I have asked for authorization to go to the hospital for my shoulder and t Bested told me that I can't go to Life Rose acres but I can go to Life Bedford gardens, Netvare Marlbarton or Arvayp . I told the person that we are legally blind and that will be for me a mission and also why didn't Bestmed told us o the changes. I also told Best Med that I took the medical aid because of outsight and that all our doctors are at Life Rose Acres. Sorry to say but be very careful with Best med as a disabled person or an abled person. I must go to an other hospital that I really do not know and I really think that it is unfair

I have rep**** to your mail. I must say I am very disappointed in the mail. I am a legally blind person and what you want is more money for me to go on a plan with no network hospitals Will Bested cover my transport with an ambulance to the Redcare Murlbarton hospital and back for my shoulder operation, because transport is a mayor issue for me as a blind person and also the hospital that I do not know? Can Bested not make a plan please for me to do the procedure at Rose Acres please, I really beg Bestmed to please consider, because I can walk with my white cane to the hospital and everybody at the hospital knows me. Please, Bestmed can call the doctors and staff there and they will tell you that my wife and myself are blind people

While you are located closer to Rose Acres Hospital, our contracted hospital, Life Bedford Gardens Hospital, is approximately 8km from your location. As a result, we regret to inform you that the scheme will not be adding Rose Acres Hospital to our network.
We understand that this may come as disappointing news, especially considering your proximity to Rose Acres. However, it's important to note that when a member joins a network option, there is always the possibility of changes within the network to ensure that option remains efficient and archieves its objectives to ensure that services are provided at a lower cost. These are the terms of the benefit option in turn, your monthly contribution is lower.
