Bestmed - Most dreadful and emotional customer experience I've ever had!!!!
Read that Bestmed is an award winning medical scheme but I can assure you, the public that they are not!!!!
We decided to join them but it was the biggest mistake!!!
My partner was admitted to Mediclini with a heart condition and they were absolutely amazing. Mediclini ended up transferring him to Christian Barnard for a heart procedure as they specialize in this.
Today he was transfered to Somerset Government Hospital as we are waiting on the medical advisors of Bestmed to make a decision to approve his procedure.
This is absolutely unacceptable!!! His condition according to his GP and his Cardiologist is life threatening and is not a prexisting condition.
Bestmed should not have let this happened!!! They have cause us a lot of emotional trauma and severe stress as my partner is being sent from pillar to post with a life threatening condition.
Bestmed is happy to take your money, but when it comes to a serious situation it takes them 24 to 72 hours to make a decision.
As of today, I will make it my mission to let everyone I come across know and advise them not to go with them as they are in my opinion not Bestmed but Dissapointmenmed!
