Bestmed Medical Aid Scheme

The worst medical aid I've ever been a member of. They keen to take your money and do nothing in return! I've just a minor surgical in-hospital procedure and it was a nightmare getting an authorisation number...I'm on their hospital plan. Then they refused to pay for the procedure and I paid over R4k as a co-payment. Additionally, they refused to pay for the anaesthetist in full always saying it's above medical scheme rates....they only paid R1200 of my R7k bill of my specialist, and have not paid the hospital bill in full. A COMPLETE RIP-OFF OF A MEDICAL AID!. I'm looking at another medical aid as I refuse to pay monthly for nothing in return
