Bestmed Medical aid premiums *****.

During this financial hard times I'm dissapointed at Bestmed and Eskom HR Shared services. Every year in November you we get a chance to change a medical aid or a medical aid option. There closing date is end November so that they process the changes to start in January. My case is that I app**** for a medical option change from Bestmed Pace 1 to Bestmed Beat 2 of which the change was to begin in January.

In january my medical aid deductions were for the Beat 2 option which was correct and it reflected as option Beat 2 in my payslip. My complain is that in February Bestmed deductions were for Pace 1 option PLUS the difference of Pace 1 option that that they deducted as Beat 2 in January. In february in the pay slip it reflects that I'm still on Pace 1 option which is more expensive.

when I queried this. The response that I got was that. Bestmed made a notice to eskom to start my Beat 2 contributions from march. I dont nderstand because in January they had changed my option to Beat 2 and deducted correctly then in February they chnged me back to Pace 1. This was very inconviniencing to my financial status. I feel that I ****** because it was not my fault and I submitted the application form on time. Had I submitted change forms late they were not gonna change my option. only if they can reverse the this februry pace1 deductions and do as they did in Jauary.
