Bestmed Medical Aid Chronic

Chronic PMB condition was authorised in July 2023. However my meds had to be changed. New script for approved PMB condition was mailed through on Thursday 21 Sept 2023 at 13:36. Then I am told they have not received the script, then I am told they only have a script fro July 2023. Sent them the proof that they did indeed receive the script, then I am told it takes 48 hours just to change and approve the new meds. Today I was again told that they received the script im July 2023 and will take 48 hours to be approved. Honestly dont know if the people working there knows what they are doing. In the meantime I am suffering with high bp, dont have meds and when I told the consultant that I will get my husband to take me to casualty due to me not feeling well because I do not heve medication for my approved PMB condition I get sent a reply including a smiley emoji....really Bestmed is this the way you treat your members or must I once again pay for my chronic meds out of jy own pocket and then get told again that I will not be re-imbursed for it? I have never had a problem like this, why now? Utterly disgusted by the way this situation is being dealt with. Why does it take so long for just jy PMB condition meds to be changed? I am not applying for a new PMB condition!!!
