BESTMED IS HAPPY TO LET ME DIE

HERE WE GO AGAIN. Bestmed HAS AGAIN DENIED ME A PET CT!! My Oncologist has twice sent an LOM for a PET ct and said in the LOM QUOTE: MRI, X-Ray nor Sonar will show or tell me if there is any disease in lungs, liver and so on, will only show bone UNQUOTE. Bestmed asked my Oncologist to send a LOM with regards my case. Last year Marlene Hanekom said to send all requests to *********** and went on further to say in a previous email, below: However, as from 1 January 2020 there is a proposal that a PET scan be added to the benefits of Pace1. In light of this, I am going to request an ex gratia benefit for the proposed PET scan for Mrs Greening from Management. This was done and the PET scan was approved. It found that the cancer had spread to further points in my bones.

My blood cancer marker was 109 in April when it should be 31, every month I sit in dread as I watch my number climb. I'm in excruciating pain through out my body and have developed daily headaches. My emotional and psychological wellbeing is suffering as I sit day in and night out stressing about where and what the cancer is doing.

This blatant disregard for treatment and human life from Bestmed is beyond me. Stage 4 breast cancer with metastasis to the bone is no joke, I cant walk without excruciating pain and my legs give in and I fall, so I'm permanently in a wheelchair; bed or recliner, I havent been able to leave my house due to the pain, when I go for chemo I must lay on the backseat of the car with pillows and my husband must carefully navigate the road for bumps or potholes. Is this anyway to live, try it I really do recommend it Bestmed!!. I'm on Morphine tablets, morphine patches, Palexia etc but I am still in excruciating pain. Nothing helps.

In the LOM my Oncologist has made it clear that she needs this PET scan to be able to treat me and (give me the best chance) my cancer is 60% aggressive. I went from Stage 1 breast cancer to Stage 4 breast cancer with metastasis to the bones within 5 months and have been fighting this cancer for 5 years. That's a fast growing cancer. The only way my Dr has been able to treat me is through the PET scan results. We dont know if it has spread to organs.

BESTMED yes you send it to your medical board but none of your Drs are intimate with my case, only my Oncologist is intimate with my case.

PLEASE DONT DENY MY RIGHT TO CORRECT TREATMENT AND A CHANCE TO LIFE.

By denying my Oncologists LOM'S you BESTMED are saying you dont care. Its NOT your family member, sister; mother; aunt; grandmother so why should you care.

EVERY SINGLE DR ON THE BESTMED MEDICAL BOARD HAS MY DEATH ON THEIR HANDS.
