Bestmed doesn't care if I die

I'm stage 4 with spine mets, originated in the breast. The mets was picked up by PET ct only, my blood marker kept going up too. Now it's happening again, blood marker keeps climbing and severe excruciating pain in the exact same places in my spine, pain meds are not helping and I'm in constant pain, battle to stand for 5 minutes and in wheelchair now. My Oncologist has requested a PETct numerous times now and we were told to get a lung xray and liver ultrasound, which my Oncologist told them would show nothing...got results and showed nothing...its my spine people, not my lung or liver,, again Bestmed refused a PET ct. My Oncologist sent this to Bestmed now " Dear oncology, Pxt tumour markers are rising, Her cxr and ultrasound you requested doesn’t show Pathology Her disease was picked up on pet ct Mri done in May showed no change stable disease Clinically she’s getting worse Please approve pet ct she needs this or she will progress And eventually cause her death " BUT, Bestmed doesn't care. It seems to me that Bestmed has the right over life and death of a patient. The lack of knowledge displayed is worrisome. Cancer is not a game. Who gave you, Bestmed, the right to play God with my life? My cancer is 60% aggressive..

Yet again, I have to fight with Bestmed for a PET scan to see where the cancer has progressed to. In my previous review you can read the entire story of my dilemma. My Oncologist has requested a PET scan as my marker has gone sky high and the pain is unbearable, I've now found multiple lumps in both my breasts and desperately need this PET scan, my cancer is only picked up by PET scan as Bestmed well knows if they would do their job and read my case file, my type of cancer is also 60% aggressive. You Bestmed are denying me the right to treatment and LIFE. Stage 4 breast cancer with mets to the bones is no joke and the pain is unbearable. I'm now in a wheelchair full time. My Oncologist cant treat what she cant see. What if the cancer has spread further into my other organs or both breasts? I was hospitalized in May and after a scan it was found that the cancer had escalated in my lumbar spine. Is this not enough for you Bestmed to grant me a PET scan and therefore a right to life. Instead when my Oncologist requested a PET scan you come back with the same jargon about PMB's, however you approved PET scan previously on the same scheme that I'm on. Bestmed, you are playing God and denying me the right to life, how dare you? My death will be on you. Marlene Hanekom please pick up my case and request from Oncologist and help me. Remember Bestmed, you will be the reason that I die.
