Old Outdated Motorcycle Tyres Sold

We ordered motorcycle tyres from BestDrive Rustenburg. They confirmed that they will be able to get and supply the tyres within a few days, arrangements were made to collect the tyres from their Randburg branch. This never happend as they were not able to get the tyres we ordered. On the 20th of January 2026 we received a call from Amir the salesperson that they managed to get the tyres and we are welcome to collect from their Rustenburg branch. After speaking to the owner Hassan we were assured that the tyres are new and not old manufactured tyres. Tyres older than 5 years are deemed unfit and dangerous in the motorcycle industry. We drove all the way from Krugersdorp to Rustenburg just find the tyres they want to sell to us was manufatured week 16 of 2011 making them almost 15 years old. This is very dangerous and unaceptable. They are playing with peoples lives here.
