No brakes after brake change and letting me drive home like that because its 13:00 and they need to close

I took my car in on 25 March 2023. They changed the front breakpads on my BMW 320d. Also some other stuff. When i want to collect my car i drove out and had no brakes. I then went back to them to check. They told me i should pump the brakes which i did. Again no brakes. They said they will bleed the brakes for me and i asked why they did not do it before and the answer was we do not bleed brakes after changing them. After bleeding still no brakes. It was 13:00 and they said they are closing now so i have to come back on Monday. I asked them so i must drive like this without brakes and they said yes. I had to drive like a snail back to my house because they left me with no other choise. They just closed the company and told me to come back Monday. Really upset with the service. If i have been driving on a high speed it could have been much worse
