Shocking Treatment!

Good Day,

I took my car in to Best Drive Clearwater Branch to change all my 4 tires. I must say initially I was quiet excited that I was in a position to do so especially given the fact that it would cost me R13k to replace all my 4 tires. When I arrived at the branch, I was greeted by a very nice receptionist who treated me with a very high degree of professionalism. My disappointment came in when I realized that my break pads had accumulated some dark grease, which I expected since I had never changed my tires on that specific vehicle. I then requested the gentlemen who were fitting the tires to please blow the grease off by making use of a pump mechanism which literally just blows everything off with little effort. I was greeted by a very rude Daniel Mokate who just plainly told me that unfortunately their pump was too far from my vehicle and it would not reach in order to blow the grease off. I then asked him, what is the norm? As my vehicle was parked in an area where it would ordinarily need to be parked when they change the tires. Again, he just plainly said there is nothing we can do. Quiet annoyed as I could see very clearly that this pump could reach, I then approached one of his colleagues and asked him to help me with the same thing. He gladly obliged and pulled the pump which reached my vehicle very easily and proceeded to clean my break pads. I then went back to Daniel and asked him why he would just plainly refuse to assist me. He then responded by telling me that his job is only to fit tires and that's it. He further told me that what I needed done was a favor so I need not have any expectations. I must say I felt completely disgusted to have him respond in that manner! Here I was spending my hard earned money only to be treated in this manner! This completely ruined my experience! I thanked the rest of the staff that assisted me politely and with a smile, however I believe Daniel's behavior needs to be reprimanded as this is not the way you are meant to treat paying customers! Especially customers who are contributing towards your salary! Absolutely unacceptable!
