Disgusting Best Cars Maboneng. ******* and *****!!

I confirm that on the 26/01/22 the company Best Cars had sent me details of a Renault Kwid licence no NN199127 which they were trying sell for a sum of R 100 000.00. They confirmed the vehicle was just over 1 year old and had about 12 500.00 kilometers on dial. On my inquiring about if the car had been in any previous accidents, I was told “not to their knowledge”. Once I had secured the agreement regarding the purchase price, I called around to their premises in New Doornfontein to look at the vehicle, taking it for a short drive. The car looked in good condition, but I was not entirely happy with how it drove, particularly as it was an automatic. I decided I would request a friend who was more mechanically minded than I, to drive to the car on the 27/01/22 and report. It appeared to be quite a good deal so I then inquired whether they could hold the car for me until the 27th. The manager said they could hold the vehicle for me but asked for a deposit of R 2 500.00 but agreed that if the deal did not go through for any reason, the deposit would be refunded. The next day when my friend inspected the Renault, He advised that there were clear signs that there had been major repairs to the car and did not even have to drive it. I then advised Best Cars that I would not be purchasing the vehicle and requested the return of my deposit, to be told that the refund had to come from Head Office and that would take a few days. After waiting a week, I started making phone calls and getting no response I sent 2 emails and then more calls all to no avail, Absolutely apalling service!! Therefore I would please inquire whether you could endeavor to recover the deposit on my behalf.
