Bespoke Flooring - Inferior Workmanship and False Promises

At its core this is an example of incompetence and poor workmanship, and I highly recommend that anyone avoids using Guy Urkell and Bespoke Flooring.

Having received a recommendation from a friend that used Bespoke Flooring in a restaurant to lay terrazzo flooring, Guy was enlisted to do 'bespoke' terrazzo tiles for our pool surround. These tile were rushed and so badly made, and the basic error of using perishable steel reinforcement has meant that after the first contact with water (around a pool?), resulted in the steel rusting, and every single tile cracking and huge rust stains seeping through the tiles and into the pool.

For a company that claims as the credo ..."Our company was formed on this principle, a principle that does not allow for shortcuts or inferior products and techniques..." they have done the exact opposite, at a very high cost.

Numerous attempts to get Guy and his team back to sort out the problem that he has acknowledged only resulted in more shocking service, false promises and non-committal. Their website states "Our mission is to offer outstanding service, to be on schedule and as always deliver an excellent final product." Well, this was simple not the case as we paid him in full (on his request due to cashflow issues) prior to the jobs completion, his service has been non-existent, the final product has been completely useless and inferior, and his false promises to rectify the problem has been going on since 2017 - so he's far from being 'on schedule'.

Avoid Bespoke Flooring at all costs!
