Overcharged

I was overcharged with almost R80 for 0,59 kg beef biltong. I was refunded and a halfhearted excuse was offered, but the way this was handled left a very bad taste. The excuse offered for the overcharging was a faulty scale! I responded that this was indeed a very big and unacceptable problem. The rather dismissive answer given, was that this was already reported and that it only happened ‘once on a blue Monday’. The audacity and stupidity of this response continues to baffle me.
