Goodevening . I was given a appointment 2 months ago for a Hernia operation . I arrived at 07H40 only to sit and wait until 19H10 to be given a bed At 21H30 to be told we must move to another ward . This happened at 22H40 . I was tired and sore andcwanted to go sleep . I was told i cant go sleep as they need to weigh me and test my sugar and get the arm tags done . This only happened at 00H30 . I am a man of 60 years old . Surely if they give you a date 2 months later they should have a bed ready for you as this gives them 2 months prior . It is like a prison you not alowed to go out at 19H00 as it is visiting time . Monday night i wanted to have a cigarette it was 22H01 i was alowed and said i must remember i can not go out after 22H00. Tonight at 21H05 i wanted to go have a cigarette then i was told i can not go smoke after 21H00 . Why does one security say 22H00 and the other says 21H00. If i dont get Discharged tommorow morning i will sighn myself out Thankyou Dennis van der Westhuizen
