I treated myself in January 2016 to what I thought was a really good watch - I had not had one for years and decided to buy myself a "good" one. I found the perfect one and told the lady I would be back - not too sure that I would as a little over R3000 is, for me, a hefty price to pay; but I did it. In January 2017 I took it back to Watches Unlimited as a tiny and very sharp piece of the very finely woven strap had come loose and was catching on everything, including my 2 little grandsons who complained bitterly. I was told I would have to buy a new strap but someone at the agency tried to fix it. however 2 months later it was loose again so I took it back to Watches Unlimited; they sent it off hoping something would be done. The watch was returned and i was told I would have to buy another strap (R500 - R6000. So I complained to Bering head office and received an email advising that the watch 'has to be worn carefully' - I ask you! If I buy another strap what are the chances that the same thing will happen again. one thing is for sure, I won't be buying another one of these watches again.
