my experience I had at Berg plaas yesterday. I brought my family to the resort for the day. We were about 15 people in total. Very excited as the website looks amazing. I get there and great service at the gate when you have to pay. Once we got inside its like you are now entering at your own risk. No checks are done if any weapons or any other sort of ******* items was checked. As we set up and early morning everything was fine. The bathrooms is disgusting and dirty. The pools is dirty looked like a milky colour. There are no security or life guards at facility at all. That was not real issue as I am a responsible individual can look after my family. My main issue is what happened at berg plaas is completely unacceptable. My wife and 2 small kids was almost physically assaulted by a huge elderly man because she told them there are small kids in pool as they were having ***ual contact in the pool. If the people there did not jump in my wife today would probably be laying out in hospital. This huge man threatened and almost attack my wife and 2 kids because he was confronted for having *** in the pool with small kids around him. There was no security or even life guard to assist as I was not there to protect them. Your facility is unsafe even thou I was told by numerous people not to go to Berg plaas because of there experience of items being ******. And to top it up when we left people were complaining the food was ****** as well and that ended up almost in a fight. Once again no security to assist. I'm really disappointed and disgusted and wish I never went there. My kids are traumatised 1stly what they saw happening inside pool and 2ndly having there mother being verbally abused and almost assaulted by a man. I will never recommend this place to anyone. what if something had happen to my family. People walking in there with guns and knives and you don't have proper security measures. I mean I paid so much money for this **** experience. I'm in process of finding out the correct process to take this matter further. Its completely unacceptable. Spending over R1000 just to enter for this experience. PLEASE PEOPLE IF YOU WANT SAFE PLACE GO RATHER SOMEWHERE ELSE. BERGPLAAS IS UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS IF YOU HAVE SMALL KIDS
